Tales of Grace
|

Although I accepted Christ at the age of eight, I strayed from God during my teenage years and those which followed. When my dad died in 2000, I found myself overwhelmed with grief and emptiness. My grief put me on the path that lead me back to the only One who could heal my broken heart and bring JOY in such sorrow. As my relationship with God grew through searching and studying His Word, I began to sense His call on my life. The reading of a hymn at church revealed to me what my ministry would be. The hymn "It Is Well With My Soul" speaks of peace in any circumstance. I was beginning to understand the ministry God was giving me. A short time later, as I studied His Word, He revealed to me, "Mama's Attic," my first "Tale of Grace" based on Matthew 20. God is using my love of storytelling to minister to women in all denominations and walks of life. Finally, one of God's truths laid itself plainly in front of me, it does not matter who I say Christ is -- the most important thing is who Christ says I am. And beloved he calls me "daughter".
